Your Role as an STPA at Chicago Speech Therapy
- Client Interaction: Help facilitate a positive experience for children and families, ensuring they feel welcome and supported.
- Collaboration: Work alongside SLPs, OTs, PTs, and ABA therapists to ensure seamless coordination between the classroom and therapy sessions.
- Practice Operations: Assist in maintaining a smooth-running classroom, including inventory management, preparing materials, and coordinating with other team members.
- Advocacy: Support the practice in raising awareness and promoting understanding of communication disorders within the community.
Qualifications
- Education: Background in communication sciences, therapy assistance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Experience working in a healthcare, educational, or therapy setting is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a passion for helping children and supporting a clinical team.
- Passion: A desire to make a difference in the lives of children and support their path to improved communication.
